Carl Knittel

I'm 38 years old and stuck at home after a back injury.  I was a professional long haul truck driver for 14 years before i fell off a truck.  I sometimes drive the Ice Cream truck in the summer since it doesn't strain my back much, and I write. 

I also am the music director at Austintown Baptist Church.  I play guitar and some piano.  I have led music for events at a nearby catholic church and at nursing homes and retirement centers on a volunteer basis because i love the music, I love giving people something to look forwrd to and I love seeing the spirit lifting power of songs of worship.

I have a variety of interests and love to read and listen to books on tape.  I have managed to learn a good bit on many subjects and try to share that knowledge with others.  I love to teach and I love to find ways of getting people to understand things.  

I find some things extremely important and tend to write about them a lot because I think people need to know. The plan of Salvation, the strengthening of the church, conservative values, threats against the country, etc.  I aften find a subject in these areas come up in my e-mail or on TV and I jump right into writing an article about it.  The words flow easily because I am passionate about the subject and work hard to educate myself about the things I care about.
